Sheryl Tattiana Hurst is the founding member of Hurst Immigration, PLLC, based in Memphis, TN, where she has dedicated her career to advocating for the rights of immigrants. With nearly two decades of experience in the field, Sheryl is deeply committed to her clients, drawing from her own family's immigrant background to inform her practice. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science, as well as a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. Additionally, she has earned specialized certificates in Inter-American Legal Studies and Comparative Development from esteemed institutions, including the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law and the Pontifical University of Salamanca in Spain. Sheryl is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Memphis Bar Association (MBA), American Bar Association (ABA), and the Federal Bar Association (FBA). Before founding Hurst Immigration, she co-established Jackson & Hurst, LLC, where she honed her expertise in immigration law. Her previous role with the Memphis Community Legal Center involved serving as a legal advocate for low-income clients, providing critical support in immigration court and before USCIS. With firsthand experience living in Honduras for over four years, Sheryl understands the complex challenges faced by immigrants fleeing adversity, including natural disasters and persecution. She is dedicated to representing individuals across all aspects of U.S. immigration law, ensuring that every client receives the compassionate and knowledgeable guidance they deserve.
