Shavasia Lanier relocated from Brooklyn, NY to Atlanta, GA and immediately decided that opening up her own practice would provide a healthy work balance to a busy life. Ms. Lanier is a 2006 graduate of Fordham University and a 2013 graduate of Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Cooley, she represented clients in the Access to Justice Clinic in the areas of divorce, child custody, and other domestic areas, and transitioned into the area of criminal law working as a legal extern with the Gwinnett District Attorney's Office in Lawrenceville, GA. This positive experience gave her the desire to become a member of the Georgia Bar. Ms. Lanier is an active member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, where she frequently attends group meetings with other solo and small - firm practitioners. Ms. Lanier opened her private practice in 2017, representing clients in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and entertainment and contractual agreements. This boutique firm's mission is to submit to the best interests of each client, promulgate justice through aggressive negotiation and firm fairness, while helping the client navigate through the legal process with minimum fear and anxiety.
