Shad attended Arizona State University where he received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science. He received his J.D. from the Northern Illinois University College of Law. Prior to co-founding Meyrose Blackford PLC, Shad worked with one of the premiere probate firms in Arizona where he was a part of the litigation department with litigation involving wills, trusts, conservatorships, guardianships and exploitation of vulnerable adults under Title 46. Shad works primarily in the areas of general probate, estate planning and business organizations. Shad has served as court appointed attorney and Guardian Ad Litem for the Maricopa County Superior Court since 2011 where he represents the protected persons of guardianship and conservatorship estates. Prior experience of Shad also includes bankruptcy, construction defect litigation and work as a general practitioner in Pinal County, Arizona where Shad was able to practice in numerous aspects of the law. Shad is involved in the State Bar of Arizona, Probate and Trust Section, the Maricopa County Bar Association, and the Estate and Trust Section Chandler Chamber of Commerce.
