I gained my initial trial experience in criminal defense as a public defender in King County, WA. I won my first trial while I was still a law student, after being appointed by the court to represent an accused person. Prior to law school, I owned a forestry business in British Columbia, Canada. When not working, I am herded by my two miniature Australian shepherds, Sadie and Chloe.
