About

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the New England School of Law in 1991 (where he was Technical Coordinating Editor of the New England Law Review), Scott became a Law Clerk and Regional Administrative Law Clerk for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. Upon completion of his Clerkship, Scott was then employed as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, first assigned to the Appellate Division, handling criminal appeals in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court, and then assigned to handle pretrial and trial matters in the Roxbury District Court. Scott was a member of the Suffolk County District Attorney's Homicide Response Team, which provided assistance and oversight of homicide investigations and search warrant applications by the Boston Police Department and Massachusetts State Police. Scott was also a member of the Suffolk County District Attorney DNA team, which handled Daubert/Lanigan challenges to forensic DNA evidence. After leaving the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office, and prior to joining Kazarian Law, Scott practiced for 20 years in the areas of insurance defense and criminal defense, during which time he defended serious bodily injury, property damage, and death claims arising out of construction site and trucking accidents. Scott also defended all types of criminal matters ranging from criminal complaints for simple assaults and drunk driving to indictments for murder to Federal white collar criminal matters. For 15 years, Scott was also an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at the New England School of Law. Scott was the recipient of American Jurisprudence Awards for Torts and Criminal Procedure, and was a recipient of the New England Scholar Award.
