Sarita Garg is the founding partner of Garg & Associates, P.C., based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and brings over a decade of diverse legal experience to her practice. Her areas of expertise encompass Employment Law, Estate Planning, Immigration, Personal Injury, Probate, and Tax Law. For the past seven years, she has successfully managed operations across Texas, California, and New Mexico, establishing a reputation for excellence in client advocacy. Sarita earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law, in 2001. During her time in law school, she excelled in Moot Court competitions and participated in Mediation and Arbitration hearings. Notably, she completed a Criminal Internship, where she represented clients in protection order hearings and misdemeanor offenses under a third-year bar card at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Lima, Ohio. Before relocating to Houston, Texas, Sarita honed her skills in Immigration Law and Personal Injury Law, handling a variety of cases including Family-Based and Employment-Based immigration matters. After becoming licensed in Texas in 2005, she worked at a national tax advisory firm, specializing in federal and state tax credits, incentives, and exemptions for clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 1000 corporations.
