SARA A. SCHIMKE is an associate attorney with the law firm of Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras, P.C. which has been providing high quality legal work since 1970. Currently, Sara is a member of the governing council for the Elder Law and Disability Rights section of the Michigan State Bar. She is a former member of the Probate Section’s special Uniform Power of Attorney Act Committee. Additionally, Sara is licensed in both the State of Michigan and the Federal Eastern District of Michigan and is an Accredited Veteran’s Attorney. Sara specializes in the following areas of practice: Sara has a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School with a concentration in Business Transactions and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Michigan University in Political Science. Sara was a pioneer member of the Thomas M. Cooley Auburn Hills Estate Planning Clinic, a pro bono estate planning program. Prior to joining Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras, P.C., Sara practiced in the areas of probate, estate planning, and bankruptcy.
