About

Highly accomplished attorney with extensive experience in the litigation of complex impact immigration defense matters before tribunals falling within the jurisdiction of the Executive Office For Immigration Review as well as US District Courts, US Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court of the United States. My work experience also includes Alternative Dispute Resolution, specifically mediation and arbitration, as well as human rights advocacy. In my role as an human rights advocate, I have traveled to Haiti, South Africa and the Balkans on behalf of the US Department of State/OSCE, Philadelphia Bar Association, the Lawyer's Committee For Human Rights and the American Bar Association in the role of Elections Observer/Human Rights Monitor. My primary professional interests involve human rights advocacy, immigration defense litigation and the advancement of positive public policy in matters related to social justice and equality, and cultural expression as well as encouraging public participation in all aspects of the legal/justice system. My interest in public policy matters was sparked in law school where I served as a member of the Public Law Review staff. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and the Caribbean and have also visited Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Cape Verde, South Africa and many nations in Western Europe.
