About
Sagar Sharma is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Sagsharma LLC. Sharma has developed his legal practice in the corporate and startup sector, with a wide ranging number of interests and capabilities. Sharma was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. In 2019, Sharma graduated with a double major and double minor from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. During his time at the University of Miami, Sharma served in numerous leadership positions, including Vice-President of Miami Aviators, the University of Miami’s Aviation Club. Subsequently, Sharma attended law school at the University of North Carolina where he served as 1L Class President and lead his Class during the COVID crisis. While at UNC Law, Sharma was a fervent advocate of protecting First Amendment rights on campus. Sharma received his clinical experience from the NC Startup Law Clinic at the University of North Carolina School of Law where he conducted various pro bono legal projects for North Carolina startups and small businesses. Sharma was the first legal extern for the storied automobile brand, Aston Martin, a position he founded and established at UNC Law. In his free time, Sharma is an avid traveler and food enthusiast. He ranks New Zealand as one of his favorite destinations and sushi as one of his favorite foods. Sharma also enjoys practicing the skill of Muay Thai and alpine skiing. Additionally, Sharma is a patron of the arts and is an active member of Young Fellow program of The Frick Collection in New York City. Sagar Sharma resides in Manhattan, New York.
