I am a Deputy Solicitor General for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and the Office of the Solicitor General represents the government of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe whenever it acts in an official capacity, whether through its departments, agents, or representatives. Additionally, the Officer of the Solicitor General is called upon to draft and interpret legislation. In the capacity of a Deputy Solicitor General, I represent, counsel, and advise the Band government in the following substantive areas: natural resource law, treaty rights, criminal prosecution, civil litigation, child support and child protection, contract review, housing and home loan policy, gaming, and employment and labor relations.
