Robert S. Bullock, Esq., CELA, CAP serves as the principal attorney at the Elder & Disability Law Center, where he is dedicated to assisting clients in navigating complex legal matters related to elder law and disability planning. Licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia, Mr. Bullock specializes in Medicaid planning and eligibility, public benefits, guardianships, conservatorships, supplemental needs trusts, and estate planning. With a commitment to providing comprehensive legal solutions, he also addresses issues of competency, insurance coverage, and Medicare. His extensive knowledge and experience in the field have earned him the prestigious designation of Certified Elder Law Attorney (CELA) from the National Elder Law Foundation. Additionally, he is a member of the Counsel of Advanced Planners (CAP) and has held leadership roles such as Chairperson of the District of Columbia Senior Resource Group (DCSRG) and a Director of Shared Horizons, the Vimer Pooled Trust in Washington, D.C. Mr. Bullock has made significant contributions to the field of elder law, including serving as a Commissioner on the Virginia Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Commission. His prior leadership roles include Chairperson of the Special Education Advisory Committee to the Alexandria, Virginia School Board and participation on the Governor's Advisory Committee on Special Education for Virginia. Recognized multiple times by Washingtonian as one of the top Elder Law attorneys in the D.C. metropolitan area, he has also received accolades such as the Education and Leadership Award from the Association of Retarded Citizens - Riggs Bank. In addition to his practice, Mr. Bullock is qualified to serve as a guardian ad litem in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and has been acknowledged for his exceptional contributions to the Estates, Trusts and Probate Committee of the D.C. Bar. An honors graduate of Lafayette College, he earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Mr. Bullock stands out as the only Certified Elder Law Attorney practicing full-time in Washington, D.C., ensuring that his clients receive expert guidance tailored to their unique needs.
