About
I am a Philadelphia criminal defense lawyer who represents people charged with DUI, simple drug possession, drug possession with intent to deliver (PWID), drug conspiracy, illegal possession of firearms, assault, robbery, theft, homicide and numerous other criminal offenses. I defend individuals not only in Philadelphia, but in the surrounding counties as well. I completed my undergraduate studies at Lafayette College before graduating from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law as a member of the Dean’s List. While in law school, I served as a law clerk at the Philadelphia law firm Anapol, Schwartz, Weiss, Cohan, Feldman & Smalley where he assisted in the litigation of complex cases involving securities law, premises liability, carrier liability, corporate negligence and motor vehicle laws. Upon graduating from law school, I took a position as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware for two years, where I prosecuted numerous criminal cases as a member of the domestic violence and child abuse unit. I then returned to Philadelphia where I was hired as an assistant district attorney under the Honorable Lynn Abraham. I prosecuted thousands of cases in the office and was assigned to the major trials unit before being promoted to the gun violence task force, a specialized unit within the office that focused on the prosecution of straw purchasers of firearms as well as other crimes committed with guns including shootings, rapes, robberies and major drug offenses. Many of these cases garnered significant local media attention. Prior to being assigned to those two units, I also spent time in the Municipal Court unit, the juvenile unit, and in gun court. I have since practiced exclusively as a criminal defense attorney and am experienced in all aspects of criminal proceedings from the initial hearings involving bail, through preliminary hearing, to trial before either judge or jury. I also represent individuals for violations of probation, post-sentence motions and appellate review. As a defense attorney I have successfully represented individuals charged with crimes ranging from 1st degree murder to traffic offenses.
