Robert Lee Thompson is an accomplished attorney based in Louisville, Kentucky, with a diverse legal practice that encompasses employment law, personal injury, probate matters, small business representation, and municipal law. Born and raised in Louisville, Robert graduated from Trinity High School before earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and entrepreneurship from Western Kentucky University. During his time at WKU, he demonstrated leadership as the vice president of Kappa Sigma fraternity and played a pivotal role as the executive director of a fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Hospital. Following an enriching internship in Washington, D.C., with a Kentucky Congressman, Robert pursued his legal education at Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. At Chase, he distinguished himself as president of the Federal Bar Association and served as a Senior Editor for the Law Review, showcasing his commitment to legal scholarship and community service. Robert is admitted to practice in Ohio and before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is an active member of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. Outside of his legal career, Robert is a passionate supporter of the WKU Hilltoppers and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
