About
Most people who call say the same thing. "I want to make sure this never happens again to someone else." As a trial lawyer for over 40 years, my mission is to help do that, and help people rebuild their lives after tragedy strikes. I cut my teeth at one of Cleveland’s top defense firms where I became a partner, defending insurance companies, hospitals and Fortune 500 companies. I learned from some of the best how to investigate, negotiate and litigate personal injury and wrongful death cases. But I found my calling when I left to join the other side. I see the difference I can now make in people's lives in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. I've helped recover more than $125 million dollars in verdicts and settlements for our clients. This includes verdicts of $15 million dollars, $8 million dollars and $7.5 million dollars--and a 22 million dollar wrongful death settlement. I've also held the highest rating availability for legal ability and ethics from Martindale Hubbell for more than 25 years. And been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer for more than 15 years, a distinction limited to less than 5% of lawyers. Based on confidential peer reviews from those who know my work first hand--other lawyers and judges. We don't take on a lot of cases. Only ones that matter. Where we can make a real difference in people's lives. And make our communities safer. Safer for the next person who goes to the hospital, or gets in a car, or makes a claim under an insurance policy. I'm also a graduate of Gerry Spence's Trial Lawyer's College. We learned there something they forgot to teach most lawyers in law school: how to be real lawyers for real people. People just like you.
