About
I am a Denver native with over 25 years of extensive legal experience in personal injruy, insurance defense, general civil litigation and administrative law. I've represented companies, boards and individuals in a wide variety of civil litigation matters regarding contract disputes, civil rights actions, premises liability, injury litigation, jury trials, construction defect, employment law issues, administrative hearings, licensing issues, professional discipline actions, malpractice law suits, tort actions and insurance claims. My past courtroom experience working for the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office, Denver City Attorney’s Office and Colorado Attorney General’s Office, provided me with the opportunity to engage in complex trial practice on a routine basis. My approach to the practice of law consists of treating each case with the time, effort and individuality it deserves and finding unique solutions to complex, multifaceted problems. In my recent past, I practiced as the general counsel for the Colorado State Board of Psychologist Examiners, Colorado State Board of Social Work Examiners, Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine and the Colorado Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement. I represented these boards in disciplinary proceedings, licensure issues, appeals and assisted in drafting proposed legislative modifications, board policies and fiscal impact opinions. I have successfully tried over 80 jury and court trials.
