About
Richard L. Campbell’s trial practice encompasses complex commercial, real estate, trusts and estates, product liability, class action, toxic tort, and employment litigation in industries such as heavy equipment, aviation, automotive, and manufacturing. He has successfully defended the interests of some of the largest corporations in the world in virtually all aspects of litigation. He has also defended mass tort claims filed in federal and state courts. In product liability litigation, Rich has defended the design, manufacturing, and performance of a diverse range of products including construction equipment, heavy truck engines, friction products, industrial machinery, and power generators. In toxic tort litigation, Rich has defended cases involving automobiles, heavy trucks, and cement products in which industrial chemicals including PCBs and products containing chrysotile and amphibole asbestos were used. Rich has served on the faculty of the ABA-TIPS/ABOTA Trial Academy at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada, from 2010 to 2015. Rich Campbell was born and raised in the Boston area. He graduated with a degree in mathematics and computer science from Vanderbilt University in 1993. Following graduation, Rich worked in management consulting for companies such as Accenture and Oracle serving clients such as the State of Tennessee, Bell South and G.E. Rich is currently licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
