Rhonda Kinard is an accomplished attorney based in Mobile, Alabama, with over a decade of experience in the legal field, specializing in Estate Planning and Personal Injury law. An Alabama native, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1999. Dr. Kinard furthered her education by obtaining a Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law, where she graduated among the top of her class. She also holds a Master of Business Administration, graduated cum laude from Regent University School of Business, and completed her Ph.D. in Business with a specialization in Criminal Justice from Northcentral University. Rhonda’s legal career began with prestigious clerkships at the Supreme Court of Virginia, where she worked under the late Chief Justice Leroy Rountree Hassell, Sr., and Justice Charles Russell. She later served as a prosecutor at the Newport News Commonwealth Attorney's Office, gaining invaluable litigation experience in a wide array of criminal cases, including violent felonies and white-collar offenses. Her tenure as a prosecutor has equipped her with unique insights into the profound effects of crime on victims and defendants alike. In addition to her practice, Dr. Kinard has shared her expertise as an Adjunct Professor, teaching criminal law and procedure at Regent University School of Law and business law courses at ITT Technical Institute and ECPI University. Licensed to practice in Alabama, Virginia, and California, as well as in all U.S. District Courts in Alabama, Rhonda Kinard is committed to providing compassionate and effective legal representation to her clients.
