Philip Claverie represents both financial institutions (both regional and nationwide) and other companies in the areas of business and finance, including complex banking, commercial and real estate transactions and vessel financing. He specializes in syndicated multi-state loan transactions, as well as the financing aspects of tax credit financing (Historic and New Markets). He also represents commercial real estate developers in acquisitions, leasing and land use matters. He is the senior member of the firm’s Business Group, with over 45 years of experience at Phelps Dunbar.
