Nicole J. Ruth is a dedicated attorney at The Wilhite Law Firm in Denver, Colorado, specializing in employment law, insurance, and personal injury. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and raised in Orlando, she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tulane University in 1993. Following her undergraduate studies, Nicole earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996, graduating in the top third of her class. Nicole began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Ralph A. Walker at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, where she honed her research and writing skills on numerous judicial opinions. She later served as a law clerk for two additional judges during her second year. After relocating to Florida, she worked at Shepard, Filburn & Goodblatt, P.A., focusing on insurance defense litigation and homeowner association issues while actively participating in the legal community. In 2001, Nicole moved to Colorado and passed the Colorado Bar exam in 2003. She joined Lasater & Martin, P.C., where she successfully litigated a wide range of cases, eventually chairing the firm’s appellate department. Her passion for personal injury law led her to the Sawaya Law Firm in 2012, where she advocates for justice on behalf of injured clients. Outside of her practice, Nicole enjoys family life with her husband and two children, as well as volunteering in the Douglas County School system.
