Moselle C. Leland was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She completed her legal studies at Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. Ms. Leland has always had an interest in the rights of individuals with disabilities. While in college, she worked for a disability attorney and volunteered at the Braille Institute as a teaching assistant for blind students. During law school, she studied disability rights.
