A distinguished graduate, Ms. Namdar holds a Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law, and a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the American University School of International Service. She also earned Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Affairs, complemented by minors in Fine Art, Human Rights, and Philosophy from Southern Methodist University. Notably, she served as the founding Editor-in-Chief of the American University's National Security Law Brief, showcasing her commitment to legal scholarship and advocacy. Ms. Namdar’s impressive career includes high-level government service, having been appointed by the President of the United States as the Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs. She previously held key positions such as Vice President of Legal, Compliance, and Risk at the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) and Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State. Her work with the White House National Security Council and other agencies highlights her expertise in national security and international human rights.
