About

Molly Ann Manning is a partner in the firm's Lubbock office. Molly graduated from Colorado State University in 1996 with her B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Agricultural Economics. Molly obtained her J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in May of 1999. While at Texas Tech School of Law Molly was a member and of the Board of Barristers and was a repeat finalist and named best oralist in the Board of Barristers Moot Court Competitions, she was a Member and Casenote / Comment Editor of the Texas Tech Law Review, a Student Writer for the Texas Tech Law School Legal Research Board, and served as a volunteer mediator. Prior to her joining the firm in February of 2004, Molly worked extensively in civil litigation including insurance defense, civil rights claim defense, municipality defense and employment litigation, wherein she gained a great deal of experience in both state and federal courts as well as extensive jury trial experience. Molly practices in the areas of employment, civil litigation, bankruptcy and adoption. Molly is a certified mediator. Molly is a member of the Lubbock County Young Lawyers Association-for which she served as president (2006-07); president elect (2005-06), treasurer (2004-05) and secretary (2003-04), the Lubbock County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Molly is admitted to practice in the State of Texas, the State of Colorado and the U.S. District Courts of the Northern and the Western Districts of Texas . For 2005 & 2006, Molly was named by the publishers of Texas Monthly as a "Texas Rising Star," recognizing her as one of the state's top lawyers under the age of 40. Molly was named the Outstanding Young Lawyer for Lubbock County for 2007. Molly is an active member of the community and serves on various community boards and committees including the Ronald McDonald Charities of the Southwest. Molly and her husband are also very involved in their church.
