Michael Thomas Thompson is a distinguished attorney at Coughlin Midlige & Garland LLP in Morristown, New Jersey, specializing in probate, tax, tax planning, estate administration, disability planning, and elder law. He previously served as an associate in the Tax, Trusts and Estates Practice Group at Coughlin Duffy LLP from 2008 to 2010 and held a key role as Managing Attorney at Danna & Associates, P.C. from 2001 to 2006. Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rutgers College and his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University Law School - Camden. He further advanced his legal education with an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University Law School. Michael is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, participating in the Elder Law and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections, as well as the New York State Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
