Michael R. Taege is the principal attorney and founder of Taege Law Offices. His primary area of expertise is family law, having worked with countless clients to resolve matters involving Divorce, High Net Worth Asset Division, Maintenance, Child Support, and Complex Child Related issue. Mr. Taege is also skilled and experienced in the estates planning and corporate law practice groups. Mr. Taege earned his Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Illinois at Chicago before obtaining his Juris Doctor from The John Marshall School of Law. During his time at John Marshall, Mr. Taege took part in multiple honors associations, including serving on the board of The John Marshall Law Review and taking part in the Moot Court honors program. Mr. Taege also served as a member of the school’s Restorative Justice Program and gaining experience as a law clerk with a prestigious Chicago Personal Injury firm. In the years following his graduation, Mr. Taege was invited to return to John Marshall as an adjunct professor, and has been featured in a number of legal publications, while establishing Taege Law Offices. Taege Law Offices was founded upon Mr. Taege’s belief that an attorney should not simply offer a service, but should rather cultivate a relationship between counsel and client.
