In 2018, I founded Allen Law LLC to defend students, faculty, and staff in campus disciplinary proceedings and federal court, especially in cases involving Title IX and due process violations. In 2021, I partnered with Samantha K. Harris, former Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), to form Allen Harris PLLC—a firm devoted entirely to campus-related legal matters. As a former tenured professor at a major U.S. research university, I understand academia from the inside. I use that insight to guide clients through complex investigations and hearings involving allegations of sexual misconduct, retaliation, discrimination, or speech-related discipline. Before launching my education-focused practice, I litigated complex civil matters including patent disputes, commercial fraud, and institutional defense in historical abuse cases. I clerked for Chief Justice Ralph Gants of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and earned my J.D. from Yale Law School in 2010, following a career in academia. I’m committed to helping clients protect their rights and futures in challenging campus proceedings, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
