Michael J. Anderson is a seasoned attorney based in Sacramento, California, specializing in estate planning and probate law. A Michigan native, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University before obtaining his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He further enhanced his expertise by completing an LL.M. in Estate Planning at the University of Miami. Admitted to the California State Bar in 1982, Anderson established his estate planning practice shortly thereafter. In 2019, he joined the Law Offices of Daniel A. Hunt as Of Counsel, where he continues to provide clients with expert legal counsel grounded in over 35 years of experience in the field. A member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the State Bar of Michigan, Anderson is recognized for his professionalism and ethics, having received an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. Beyond his legal practice, Anderson is actively involved in his community as the Board Chair and President of the Future Foundation of Sacramento, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting local youth in achieving their higher education aspirations.
