Michael David Mitchell is a skilled attorney at The Mitchell Law Firm, LLC, located in Birmingham, Alabama, where he focuses on insurance law and civil litigation. Raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Michael moved to Alabama in 1993 to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, graduating in 1997. He then attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2000. Since then, he has made Birmingham his home. Michael has deep roots in Alabama, with a large family spanning Central and North Alabama. His paternal relatives have long resided in Madison and Limestone Counties, while his maternal family is based in Shelby and Talladega Counties. Michael spent his formative summers on his grandparents’ farm in Huntsville and along the Coosa River in Talladega, further solidifying his connection to the state. In his practice, Michael represents clients across Alabama in a variety of legal matters, including auto accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death, slip and falls, workplace injuries, workers' compensation, dog bites, premises liability, construction injuries, nursing home abuse, and other personal injury claims.
