Hello, I'm Meranda Landes. Thank you for taking the time to read my biography. I'm a second generation native Floridian, born and raised in Tampa. I attended the University of South Florida where I obtained my Bachelors of Science degree in Health Science, becoming the first in my family to graduate from college. Before joining Morgan & Morgan, I worked for one of the largest personal injury firms in Central Florida. I knew that in order to best help injured victims, I needed to become an attorney. I attended law school at FAMU College of Law right here in Downtown Orlando while working full-time, graduating early. I started my career in personal injury, working at one of the largest auto insurance companies in the nation. I saw firsthand what big insurance companies do to try and devalue the cases of injured, innocent people. Outside of work I have always loved giving back to the community and helping others. I had the privilege of being a member of Junior League of Lakeland and Orlando. I also served on the board of the directors for Pace Center for Girls, Orange for four years, co-chairing their Believing in Girls Breakfast in 2022, raising over $85,000 for at-risk girls in Central Florida. I served as an Advisory Committee Member for Central Florida Urban League as part of their Community Policing Forum sponsored by the Office of the Attorney General. In 2021 I completed the Central Florida Political Leadership Institute (PLI) sponsored by Orlando Economic Partnership. I use my years of experience in personal injury litigation and of the auto insurance companies to fight to get you the compensation you deserve. I will always treat you like family and take the time to explain the legal process to you. Together we can take a unfortunate situation and make it better. Thank you for choosing Morgan & Morgan and I look forward to working with you.
