There, she quickly advanced to become a team leader, adeptly managing high-stakes cases, including murder, child molestation, and armed robbery trials, always advocating for fairness and justice. In July 2015, Melissa joined Durham Law Firm, P.C. as an associate before becoming a partner in 2017. She specializes in Plaintiff’s Civil Litigation, focusing on medical malpractice, automotive accidents, and trucking litigation, alongside her work in criminal defense.
