Melissa Concetta Martorella is an accomplished attorney based in Irvine, California, specializing in Real Estate, Securities Offerings, and Litigation. During her time at UCI Law, Melissa demonstrated her leadership and analytical skills as the Lead Article Editor and later as a Senior Research Editor for the UCI Law Review. She played a pivotal role in the Community and Economic Development Clinic, leading a team on a complex litigation case, which honed her ability to navigate intricate legal challenges. Her commitment to legal excellence was further enhanced by her internship at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California and her research assistantship for renowned legal scholar Dean Erwin Chemerinsky. Before embarking on her legal career, Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hispanic Studies and History from Boston College in 2010, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Spanish Secondary Education from Tufts University in 2011. Outside of her professional pursuits, Melissa enjoys watching college sports and actively participating in networking events to foster connections within the legal community.
