I have been an Attorney for 30 years. Find articles, posts, and podcasts written by me on blogs as well as , Westlaw, and LexisNexis. I attended the University of Chicago and University of Michigan where I earned a BA with Distinction from the Honor's College and an MBA from the Ross School of Business. I also worked my way through DePaul University College of Law where I received an American Jurisprudence Award in Professional Responsibility. I am president of the law firm I started in 1995. I have also held Series 7 and 63 licenses, a business broker's license, and am a title insurance agent. I am a member of several professional organizations including the American Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, and DuPage County Bar Association where I chaired several committees and received a Board of Directors' Award and edited the Bar Journal. I have also been honored as Lawyer of the Year and Bankruptcy Lawyer of the Year twice. I was honored to serve on the campaign of Judge Dorothy French of the 18th Circuit.
