Matt McGill is a dedicated attorney at Lowder & McGill, PLLC, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, where he focuses on insurance law and personal injury cases. A native of Bowling Green, Matt attended Miami University on a partial athletic scholarship, where his interest in law was sparked by a captivating Business Law course taught by a local attorney. He graduated with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Political Science before pursuing his law degree at the University of Kentucky College of Law. During his third year, Matt gained invaluable experience working in the College of Law Legal Clinic, handling pro bono cases that deepened his passion for civil litigation. After earning his law degree in 2005, Matt returned to Bowling Green and practiced at a reputable local firm for eight years, where he managed a diverse range of cases, including commercial litigation, insurance defense, and personal injury claims. He found his calling in advocating for individuals harmed through no fault of their own, which he found far more rewarding. In 2013, Matt co-founded Lowder & McGill, PLLC, with his friend Brian Lowder, driven by the commitment to provide zealous representation for their clients, whether they are small business owners or families seeking justice after a tragic loss. Outside of his legal practice, Matt is actively involved in the community, serving as a board member and past President of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of South Central Kentucky. He and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of two daughters, Vivienne and Susanna.
