About
Matthew Gillhouse graduated from the UW Law School magna cum laude in 2007 and is a member of the Order of the Coif. After Law School, Matthew clerked for Honorable Judge Barbara B. Crabb for the Western District of Wisconsin. Since his term position with Judge Crabb ended, Matthew has devoted himself to immigration law issues including Victim-based Visas (U Visas, VAWA Petitions), Family Petitions, Removal (Deportation) Defense, Naturalization, and other assorted immigration matters. When dealing with something as important as your immigration status, working with an attorney who can communicate clearly with you in your own language can be very important. Matthew is fluent in Spanish and has worked with many immigrants who speak ONLY Spanish. Moreover, Matthew understands the challenges immigrants often face in this country and how important immigration status can be for our families and our community. Matthew strives to find immigrants the best remedies available to them in their circumstances.
