I am a member in the Seattle office where my practice includes health care, insurance, product liability, mass tort, and civil matters. I provide a wide range of legal services to members of the health care industry including negotiating and structuring arrangements, business, regulatory, confidentiality and privacy-related compliance services including HIPAA and state laws, licensing and risk management related services, and related investigations. My practice includes legal advice and litigation relating to insurance coverage and bad faith for policyholders and the insurance industry including property and casualty, life, health and disability. I also provide guidance and advice to the insurance industry and selfinsureds with respect to their obligations under the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act (MMSEA). I was named to the Washington Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers magazine in 2005 and 2010-2016.
