He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and received a B.S. from Touro College where he was Summa Cum Laude. With over twenty-five years of experience as a matrimonial attorney, Martin E. Friedlander, Esq. specializes in complex matrimonial and high net worth matters. Mr. Friedlander, who started his law career by interning, and later being an associate, for Jeffrey Sunshine, Esq. who is now an administrative judge for matrimonial matters for the State of New York, has appeared in all Supreme and Family Courts in New York. He has argued before the Appellate Division before the First, Second, and Third Department as well as the Court of Appeals. He also specializes in arbitration and mediation. Mr. Friedlander has extensive knowledge on issues relating to the Get and Rabbinical Courts. He has received Rabbinical Ordination (Smicha) from Yeshiva Torah Vodaath by Rabbi Pam, of blessed memory.
