Mark Eric Lowary is the managing partner of Berman, Berman, Berman, Schneider & Lowary, LLP's Riverside, California office. Since joining the firm in 1995, he has built a robust legal practice that spans various areas, including general practice, insurance, personal injury, and transportation. Mark effectively manages cases throughout California, particularly in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties, ensuring meticulous oversight from case inception to resolution. Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton in 1989, followed by his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles in 1993. He was admitted to the California Bar in the same year and has since been an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Riverside Bar Association. Before his tenure at the firm, Mark gained valuable experience in the Corporate Underwriting and General Counsel’s Office of Farmers Insurance Group, where he specialized in drafting insurance policies and advising on coverage matters. His extensive legal expertise encompasses a variety of fields, notably premises liability, construction defect claims, automobile negligence, and trucking and transportation law. He is also well-versed in safety and security, product liability, fair debt collection practices, and housing discrimination. In addition to his practice, Mark is a sought-after speaker, frequently presenting on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and its implications for collateral repossessors. He possesses significant jury trial experience, having participated in over 250 mediations and arbitrations. Outside of his legal career, Mark is a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly devoted to Ohio State Buckeye football, inspired by his grandfather’s legacy as an alumnus. He has also contributed to his community as a volunteer coach for the local Pop Warner football league for the past five years, with the firm proudly serving as a corporate sponsor. Mark resides in Riverside with his wife of 25 years and their two sons.
