Mark Andrew Yocum is a dedicated attorney based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, specializing in estate planning, personal injury, and probate law. He began his career in law enforcement as a Wyoming Peace Officer with the Wheatland Police Department in 2000. After a few years, he transitioned to Sheridan, serving as a Deputy Sheriff for two years. Mark concluded his 20-year career in law enforcement in Cheyenne, where he continued to uphold the law with integrity. In 2020, Mark made the pivotal decision to pursue a legal career, believing that he could better protect individual rights and uphold the principles of the Wyoming and United States Constitutions through the practice of law. He graduated with honors from the University of Wyoming, College of Law, in 2023. During his time in law school, Mark gained valuable experience in the Defender Aid Clinic, honing his skills as a criminal defense attorney. He also completed an externship with Chief Justice Fox of the Wyoming Supreme Court, learning from some of the most esteemed legal minds in the state. Outside of his legal practice, Mark enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rachel, whom he married in 2003, and their four daughters. He actively participates in his daughters' lives, teaching them to hunt elk and supporting them at various extracurricular activities, including softball, marching band, basketball, and music recitals.
