Marianna advises individuals and their families in the areas of wealth preservation, probate avoidance, estate and gift tax planning, elder law planning, family business planning and asset protection. Additionally, she is expert in the area of Estate Planning for . Citizens and Foreign Nationals. Marianna counsels fiduciaries in the Probate / Administration of estates and trusts and represents fiduciaries in Surrogate’s Court proceedings and other Probate / Administration matters. Marianna skillfully combines her knowledge of tax law with a commitment to carrying out a client’s wishes, often in the context of complex or adversarial family relationships. She approaches each client as having a unique set of goals and needs and develops a customized plan to effectuate them via asset preservation, protection and transfers. Additionally, Marianna’s practice encompasses residential and commercial Real Estate transactions, including representation of clients in purchasing and selling of New York condominiums and cooperative. Before founding Moliver Law, Marianna worked in a number of New York law firms. She started her career at the prestigious Alston & Bird, where her practice was concentrated on commercial real estate, trusts & estate and real estate litigation. Hereafter, Marianna refocused her career on Trusts & Estates and gained experience as an associate in several firms. Most recently, Marianna was Of Counsel and Supervising Attorney of the Trusts & Estates Group at Romer Debbas LLP, a boutique midtown firm. Marianna received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as the Bench Memorandum Editor of the Moot Court Honor Society and was a recipient of the B. K. Olson Scholarship. She received her Bachelor of Arts and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. Marianna regularly publishes articles and lectures in her field. She is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and New Jersey and speaks Russian fluently. Marianna is a member of the New York State Bar Association as well as the Russian Speaking Business Attorneys Network. She is on the Board of Directors of the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association. Super Lawyers Magazine named Marianna a Super Lawyer Rising Star in the areas of Estate Planning & Probate in 2014 and 2015.
