M. Sean Breen is a distinguished attorney at Manweiler, Breen, Ball & Davis, PLLC, based in Boise, Idaho. A lifelong resident of Idaho, Sean earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors from Idaho State University in 1986 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1994. He is a retired Major from the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps, having dedicated over 23 years to military service. Since beginning his legal career in 1994, following clerkships at the U.S. Department of Justice, the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, and the U.S. Department of Energy, Sean has developed a robust practice primarily focused on domestic relations and family law. He also addresses a wide array of legal matters, including employment law, probate, personal injury, and general practice issues such as contract disputes and business formation. Sean has successfully litigated hundreds of civil trials across southern Idaho and is recognized for his expertise in non-compete agreements, having contributed to key legal precedents in Idaho. Beyond his legal practice, Sean is deeply committed to community service. He co-founded Anser Charter School, Idaho’s first service-oriented K-8 public charter school, and actively participates in various organizations, including the Idaho Academy of Leadership for Lawyers and the YMCA. In his leisure time, he enjoys rafting Idaho's rivers and skiing in the mountains with his family.
