About
Founding Partner Lorraine P. D’Alessio specializes in US Immigration for artists and entertainment professionals. She was awarded the presigious Century City Bar Association's 2016 "Next Generation Attorney of the Year" Award. Born and raised in eastern Canada, she immigrated to the United States to pursue US Immigration Law. Ms. D’Alessio holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Political Science from the University of Toronto. She went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Queen’s University, School of Policy Studies in Kingston, Canada. She also holds a US law degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. Mrs. D’Alessio is licensed to practice law in the United States and has been admitted to the State Bar of California. Ms. D’Alessio has worked in the field of immigration law in both Canada and in the United States. She has extensive experience in the area of government policy, human rights and immigration issues. Ms. D’Alessio has worked on successful refugee, asylum, and deportation cases before the Refugee and Immigration Board of Canada. She has also helped to shape government policy as an analyst and advisor to the Ontario government. While in law school, Ms. D’Alessio received two First Honors Awards for Excellence for her work at the Southwestern Law School Immigration Law Clinic where she prepared nonimmigrant temporary worker and immigrant (“green card”) applications, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and U Visa cases. Prior to her work in US immigration law, Ms. D’Alessio spent several years working as a Ford Model based in Toronto, Canada. She also worked globally as both an actress and business development consultant for international commercial campaigns including Snickers, Lipton, and Volkswagen. Ms. D’Alessio combines her unique knowledge of the entertainment industry and immigration law to assist foreign nationals who wish to come to the United States and work in entertainment and entertainment related fields.
