Lee Vartan is a partner in Holland & Knight's New York office. He practices in the area of white collar defense and investigations and handles all aspects of complex civil litigation in federal and state courts. Mr. Vartan is experienced in a range of diverse matters, including government enforcement actions, both criminal and civil, corporate compliance, financial crimes and tax violations, and cybercrimes as well as significant nationwide civil litigation and administrative matters. He brings a substantial seven-year background in federal and state government service to his legal practice. Specifically, Mr. Vartan served as a federal prosecutor in New Jersey for four years, as assistant counsel to Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey from 2011 to 2012 and, most recently, as the executive assistant attorney general for New Jersey – the state’s second highest-ranking prosecutor.
