About

Lawrence “Larry” S. Greenberg earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from Boston University and his law degree from the University of Baltimore. After law school, he joined Greenberg Law Offices, focusing on serious injury cases involving auto, truck, and motorcycle accidents, medical and legal malpractice, defective products, slip and falls, and police misconduct. He also defends clients facing criminal charges and traffic offenses, including MVA hearings, and practices in both Maryland state and federal courts. In addition to his legal practice, Larry serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he teaches Trial Advocacy. He completed the same DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing training used by Maryland police officers, certified by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP). As a Captain and Legal Officer (JAG) in the Maryland Defense Force, he provided legal support to the Maryland Army and Air National Guards. Larry is a former president of the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) and has served on numerous committees, including legislative, auto-negligence, technology, mentoring, and criminal law. He played a key role in MAJ’s public outreach efforts, helping donate bike helmets and smoke detectors to underserved families, and helped launch a Social Work Program with the University of Maryland Medical System to support families in crisis. He is also a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, the Baltimore City and County Bar Associations, and the American Association for Justice. He frequently lectures on civil and criminal law topics and has testified before the Maryland General Assembly on public safety and civil justice issues. Larry has received numerous honors, including Super Lawyers Top 100, Leadership in Law, Influential Marylander, National Trial Lawyers, America’s Top 100 Attorneys, and the Simon K. Walton Civil Justice Award. He lives in Maryland with his wife Michele, their two children, and two dogs—who often join him at the office.
