Since graduating from law school with honors in 1989, Larry has worked exclusively as a civil trial lawyer. He works for both plaintiffs and defendants in business litigation, but in medical malpractice and personal injury cases his practice concentrates on injured plaintiffs. Recent cases have covered construction litigation, unfair trade practices, fraud, breach of contract, franchise law, medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, property disputes, and will contests in probate and federal courts. He was certified as a Board Certified Advocate in civil trials by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is a life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum and a "Top 100" lawyer with The National Trial Lawyers. In addition to jury trials, Larry has conducted innumerable mediation and arbitration hearings for his clients. He serves the Connecticut Judicial Branch as a Special Master, Arbitrator, and Fact Finder. He is a co-chair of the civil litigation and bench/bar committees of the Fairfield County Bar Association, and served on that Association's Board of Directors from 2005-09. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, the New York State Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. He has presented a number of continuing legal education seminars in civil litigation such as Trial Objections Strategies, Direct and Cross Examination Techniques and Strategies, Overview of Civil Litigation - Case Intake Through Trial. In addition to trial work, Larry is a long-distance runner for the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund. He served on the Board of Directors for the Norwalk Youth Symphony for several years and served as President and Chairman of the Board from 2010-11. He is proud to be an Eagle Scout and to have coached the Ridgefield High School Mock Trial team for many years. Larry graduated from the State University of New York with a degree in Environmental Science. In law school, he was elected Chief Notes and Comments Editor of The New York Law School Journal of Human Rights and represented the school in the national environmental law moot court competition, won the American Jurisprudence Award in civil procedure, and was published in the Journal of Human Rights. He is admitted to the Bars of Connecticut and New York, the Federal District Court for the State of Connecticut, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He practices in both state and federal courts conducting trials and arguing appeals.
