Jay was brought up and educated in Colorado. He has been married for 28 years, with two daughters and three grandsons. One daughter is a primary school teacher in the Denver Metropolitan Area. The other is a neurological physician's assistant in Cape Neddick, Maine. He has the distinct privilege of being legal counsel to WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBF Heavyweight Contender DaVarryl J. Williamson throughout DaVarryl's amateur (USA Boxing) and professional career (Don King Productions). Jay is licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming.
