About
Kristy Black was born and raised in Las Vegas. Ms. Black earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Arizona State University in 2008, and her Juris Doctorate/Masters of Business Administration at the Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2012. While obtaining her JD/MBA, Ms. Black completed several pro bono and community service activities through the Boyd School of Law, as well as a legal internship. Since then, Ms. Black has attained experience in many areas of the law, including general litigation, family law, workers' compensation, real estate, sophisticated contractual and business dealings, estate planning and asset protection. Ms. Black was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2012 and is currently a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Nevada Justice Association. Ms. Black's business and real estate savvy have drawn her to focus primarily on legal matters pertaining to real estate, contract, business organization, estate planning and asset protection. At Holland & Hart, Ms. Black serves a diverse client base with estate planning, asset protection and business strategies.
