About
Kristine L. Calalang is the principal of The Law Office of Kristine L. Calalang and practices family law in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Ms. Calalang is a strong advocate for her clients and strives to help them resolve their legal matters. She is also an arbitrator for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County and a mediator. Ms. Calalang obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from The College of New Jersey (completing a double major in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry) and her Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law (VLS). Ms. Calalang is very active in the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving as the Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section (FLS), the Chair of the FLS Diversity Committee, and Co-Chair of the FLS Custody Committee. She also serves on the FLS Executive Committee and is a Board Member of the Villanova Law Alumni Association and Villanova Minority Alumni Society Leadership Board (also being immediate past president). Ms. Calalang was also a Board Member for the Young Lawyer Editorial Board of the Legal Intelligencer for seven years. Additionally, Ms. Calalang is a member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Pennsylvania (APABA-PA), the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Ms. Calalang has given numerous presentations through her involvement with the Philadelphia Bar Association, APABA-PA, and VLS. She has also had her legal writing published in online and print media. In addition, Ms. Calalang was named as Rising Star in Super Lawyer: Rising Stars Editions 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014. She was also named as a Lawyer on the Fast Track for 2008 by The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly and has been placed on the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania's Pro Bono Rolls of Honor for exemplary pro bono work each year from 2006 β 2010.
