Ms. Rivera concentrates her law practice in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular focus in construction law and general liability litigation. Her litigation and case management experience covers briefing and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, propounding and responding to discovery, counseling clients and negotiating settlements. Ms. Rivera is a 2009 graduate of Oberlin College. Ms. Rivera received her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University in 2012. While there, she served as the Executive Copy Editor of the Duquesne University Health Law Journal and participated in the Health Law Society, Black Law Student Association, Public Interest Law Association and Trial Advocacy Program. In 2009, Ms. Rivera graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Oberlin College. Outside of her legal work, Ms. Rivera volunteers as a board member of the Brightwood Civic Group and as a board member of the Northside Leadership Conference. Ms. Rivera resides in the Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
