Based in our Las Vegas, Nevada office, Kimberly Maxson-Rushton is immersed in the U.S. gaming market that started it all. Casinos, gaming suppliers and businesses related to the gaming industry all depend on Kimberly's guidance in this rapidly changing field of law. Kimberly began her career in the Clark County District Attorney's Office from 1993 to 1998. She also served in the Attorney General's Office as Chief of the Las Vegas office and Counsel to the Nevada Gaming Commission from 1998 to 2003, and as Chairman of Nevada's Transportation Services Authority from 2003 to 2007. Kimberly was selected for inclusion among The Best Lawyers in America® 2015 in the area of Administrative/Regulatory Law in Nevada. Credentials Kimberly is an active participant in industry events, associations and organizations, including: Community Kimberly served as a Board Member for the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, and as a “We the People” Judge for the State Bar of Nevada. In 2005, Kimberly was named in the Top 40 Under 40 by In Business Las Vegas. She serves as Executive Director for the Livery Operators Association of Southern Nevada. Education A 1990 graduate of the University of Nevada, Kimberly received her Juris Doctor in 1993 from the University of Denver, College of Law and joined the State Bar of Nevada in 1993.
