About
I grew up in Santa Clarita, California. In 2010 I graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Management. As a part of the Political Science Honors Program, I conducted research and wrote an honors thesis on the 2008 presidential election. I was also Co-Founder and Co-President of the Invisible Children Club, an association that raised money for a partner school in Northern Uganda, and I was a member of the SAGE Scholars Program and the Pi Gamma Mu International Honors Society. In the summer of 2008, I studied abroad in Montreux, Switzerland. At graduation, I earned a Student Scholar of Distinction award and the Order of the Merit award. Following my undergraduate studies, I attended Chapman University School of Law and graduated in 2013 in the top of my class. In law school, I received a Merit Scholarship and two CALI Awards for being the top student in both my Community Property and Mediation classes. I was also the Notes and Comments Editor for the Nexus Journal of Law and Policy. While attending law school, I also completed an externship with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, and clerked for an insurance defense firm. I mentors law students at both of my alma maters, Chapman University School of Law and UC Irvine School of Law. I was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Southern California Rising Star in 2017, 2018, and 2019. I live in Orange county and enjoy photography, yoga, sushi, and writing.
