Upon receiving his law license in Illinois, Kevin practiced in Chicago, focusing on insurance defense and civil litigation. He expanded his credentials by obtaining law licenses in Indiana (2004) and Michigan (2007), along with the ability to practice before both the Illinois and Michigan Federal Courts. After returning to Southwest Michigan, he joined forces with his father, Jack Banyon, at Burch & Banyon. In 2012, Kevin took on the role of owner and managing partner of Burch & Banyon, where he continues to provide exceptional legal services from their office located at 1211 E Napier Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI.
